On August 22, 2019 Moscow Office of Certification Association «Russian Register» hosted the first meeting of recently formed International Accreditation Board on QA in higher education. The Board implements the provisions of the Federal Law of the Russian Federation «On Education in the Russian Federation» and the European Standards and Recommendations on the Quality Assurance of Education (ESG - ENQA).
The Board members are the representatives of Russian and international professional communities in the area of tertiary education, QA and relevant professional associations, non-profit organizations in the field of quality of education, employers’ associations, educational institutions, and news agencies. The Chairperson of the International Accreditation Board is S.Yu. Glazyev, Doctor of Economics, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation on Regional Economic Integration.
The agenda of the meeting was related to the results of the accreditation examination of the cluster of degree programmes in Pedagogy of M. Akmullah Bashkir State Pedagogical University. Based on the results of the accreditation, International Accreditation Board made a decision on the accreditation for a period of 5 years, which, according to the methodology of the Russian Register, means a significant degree of programme compliance with the established requirements, coupled with the standards and recommendations of ESG - ENQA.
The meeting also addressed issues about the structure and activities of the International Accreditation Board of the Russian Register; prospects and goals of Russian Register in the area of international cooperation in the field of independent assessment of the quality of education, research on the quality of higher education in the Russian Federation and grant activities of Russian Register.
We inform you about the publication of the new version of the FSSC 22000 scheme on 06/03/2019 on the official FSSC 22000 website (https://www.fssc22000.com).
We inform you that the validity period of certificates for FSSC 22000 version 4.1 will expire on June 29, 2021. Please note that the certificate holder organization must undergo a transitional audit to confirm that its system complies with the requirements of version 5 of the FSSC 22000 certification scheme from 01/01/2020 to 12/31/2020. In case of emergency, an audit of upgrading to version 5 FSSC 22000 may be conducted in 2021, however, this process must be completed before June 29, 2021.
